It's hard to catch fish here now cause the water is 90 degrees.. But, my 13 yr old son and I went fishing yesterday (in the middle of the day and it was 97 degrees).. One good thing, we have the whole lake all to ourselves cause we were the only ones crazy enough to get out there LOL.. Anyway, he ain't speaking to me too much cause I caught 52 bluegills and shell crackers and he caught FOUR LOL..But I'm writing this here cause every one of them were caught "on the fall".. I caught every one of them on my own "Pink Panfish Producer" tied on a #14 hook which has about an inch per second fall rate. The fish were at the very edge of the grass in about a foot of water, so you could cast, count to 10, and if you didn't get a bite, cast again.. That's just the way it was. I caught NONE on a twitch or on the way in, ONLY on the fall... Chuck BTW, believe Me.. I TRIED to help the boy catch more.. I LOVE to win at fishing, but I'm not THAT cold hearted ROFL...I feel bad though, cause when we were loading the boat, he loaded his clip type "stringer" and I made the comment "Don't worry Freddy, you won't be needing that... I didn't mean to ACTUALLY put a Mo Jo on Him LOL
