I noticed that there are furled flourocarbon leaders for sale. I use and understand thread furled leaders. They are soft, supple and still turn over. Have you had experience with colors being spooky to fish? I have an orange one and I swear I get fewer hits with it than a mono tippet. I prefer the action of the furled but I have lingering questions. I am thinking of changing colors to see if that helps.
