Mike,
I have a couple of mono furled leaders, I do find them
stiff and don't use them. They are not at all like the
thread leaders. I also have an orange one but have not
used it much. The two I use all the time are an olive
green and they don't seem to scare any fish that I
know of. One of them I have been using for over five
years.
