Okay I am ready to be humiliated. I noticed that there are furled flourocarbon leaders for sale. I use and understand thread furled leaders. They are soft, supple and still turn over. However, the flourocarbon furled leaders sounds heavy and anything but supple. Anyone use these that can give me some insight. Also on thread leaders from those that use them. Have you had experience with colors being spooky to fish? I have an orange one and I swear I get fewer hits with it than a mono tippet. I prefer the action of the furled but I have lingering questions. I am thinking of changing colors to see if that helps.
