so why are you making a closed container format .mov and not an open container format .mp4 or the now vidiPod .m4v ? Its the same compressor and the same quality and the same size (plus minus a few bytes) BUT with a .mp4 Operating System like Linux can enjoy you content as well as a all the others that can enjoy you .mov also recommendet for the vidiPod seems to be the .m4v container. All you need to do is instead choosing Export -> Movie To Quicktime Movie is Export -> Movie to MPEG4 - then you get basically the same dialog with the same options just you endresult movie is a true lovely interoperable MPEG4 and can be seen by a lot more people.
