I hate to say it, but podcasting seems to have gone through this, and 
the winners so far (as far as financially) are those that had a set 
'show' format. I guess people are just so used to consuming media in 
this fashion that the media producers (podcasters, videobloggers) who 
run by their own schedule and their own formats, experimental or what 
not, just aren't accepted by the mainstream. Sad but true? The weird 
thing is, with RSS & subscriptions, this just doesn't have to be the 
case. I mean, in the olden days people knew when their TV shows were on 
and they planned for it. Nowadays you set a season pass and timeshift it 
all and watch when *you* want to. Still, it seems people need that 
'regular schedule' or something. With RSS you subscribe, and you get the 
content when it's available. Is that so hard for people to adapt to? Is 
the whole 'not knowing when it will show up' scary for folks?
