Adam - Just wanted to clear this up a bit; we aren't basing our stats on just parsing IP addresses - as has been pointed out later in the thread, that's not a particularly useful measure due to varying behavior of some aggregators. We monitor IP addresses, user agents, polling intervals, and a variety of other details to evaluate what the total number of subscribers are to your feed. Keep in mind that web-based aggregators (Yahoo, Bloglines, Rojo, Newsgator Online, etc.) will poll a feed on behalf of x subscribers, so knowing how many times the feed was polled is only half the equation - you need to be able to parse the user count (often passed through in the user agent field).
