This is a link to the Avid Video Editing features page where you can
compare the free version to the $$$ version.

One of the things that you will notice is that the free version only
exports out in QuickTime format. So if you wanted to or needed to
export in WMV, SWF or (ugh) Real Media you couldn't do it inside of
the program.

And on the specs page for PC users you have to be running a P4 or
better machines with at least 1GB of RAM.

There is a page with video tutorials - take a look at the process
before you start downloading.

For some vloggers it might be what you want. However Avid is not
necessarily going to be easy. It is a professionally constructed video
editing program.

If you have had prior experience in traditional video editing or
learned on linear video editing systems you are not going to have too
much of a problem. All others will have to ramp up to speed.
