I need to go the other way around. I am watching a .qtl and want to save as a .mov. I have QT pro and have tried every option under save or export and end up with large files of nothing! There must be something I am missing?

You just simply change the filename from .mov to .qtl

When trying to do so, your OS may ask if you are sure you want to
change the extension so just say yes.

I have been making .qtl files recently in order to open videos in
full screen mode.
