Oh, it's definitely real. The number that Rob of Podcast 411 gave is about what I keep hearing. It is a lot of work, and even if you do choose a topic you're passionate about, it doesn't work out for everyone. I think you have to be willing to change your lifestyle a bit for podcasting. Even though I didn't listen to the Lost Podcast, I was sad to hear they'd stopped. It was getting a lot of attention for podcasting.
