I havent checked out these latest offenders yet but if its getting to the point where some people want to close off their content, then I start to panic and look to the past discussions to see if there is an alternative way to deal with this stuff.
Maybe we could look again at the idea of having linkbacks, creative commons licenses and other forms of attribution, actually be attached to the videos themselves in some meaningful way that works jsut as well as a weblink elsewhere on a page, so that it doesnt matter so much if all these leeches dont do the right think on their pages?
