I'm sorry you're having problems with BlipTV but I'm glad to see a discussion about Blip show up here.
Blip is obviously changing focus and evolving which a business needs to do, but their customer service has been terrible. It is not the BlipTV I'm used to. I, too, have been with them for a long time. Recently I've seen other discouraging signs from their camp. I hope they pay attention to the feedback of their content providers and do something about their new short-comings. With that said, I had them delete my entire account a few weeks ago without saying anything to me at all. Years of loyalty to them, hundreds of videos and that was how I was treated. Very upsetting. I tried emailing and that was not helpful at all. So here is what I did- I called their one and only number that I could get to work. Guess what that was? Yep. Sales. I got someone on their sales line and said, "Oh! I'm sorry. I must have gotten the wrong extension. Can I have tech support please?" They said, "Sure!" and they transferred me to tech support. At that point I had to plead my case that my BlipTV channel was entertainment based and not commercial based. After a few minutes of negotiation (aka begging) they put my channel back up. But now I don't trust them like I did. Even Veoh, who I've never thought as being nearly as good as BlipTV, sends out emails to content providers to let them know about changes, etc. Veoh recently made some changes to their content management system that I'm really happy about. You can see the different between Blip and Veoh on my site- www.readersentertainment.tv I have Blip on the homepage and the Zombie Today page and I have Veoh on the genre channels. My back up plan now is to convert the other two pages to Veoh if Blip arbitrarily deletes my account again. Now, to make a long story...longer... Heyspread.com has a feature that lets you move all the videos you have on YouTube to another site. I had my vimeo account hacked last year and I had over 300 videos on it. I used the Heyspread feature and for something like $25 they put the videos on Vimeo for me that I also have on YouTube. It was great! Good luck with BlipTV! --- In [email protected], Adam Warner <awarne...@...> wrote: > > Hi all, > > I'm disappointed to learn that Blip.tv is discouraging me from hosting my > videos.
