I have searched the archives, and looked at the other Sanyo, Canon & Camcorder suggestions, not a lot came up. . have been eyeing them for a year now. I am looking for suggestions, it is hard to tell from pictures and presently I am unable to get out to see how they feel, how heavy they are or small, and the controls if they are too small, or toggle's which have proved difficult for me on the 1033 Kodak, and too many choices to flip through. Simplity is easiest for me, I have severe cognitive/memory problems at times, and am physically disabled, including my hands. My range is under $400, preferably less, many are coming on sale now. - works on Mac and PC, the easier the better, I see that many have MPEG4 now (not a must but nice: software for both I found for a Sanyo which surprised me http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/sanyo-sanyo-high-definition-1080p\ -sdhc-camcorder-vpc-fh1a-web-only-vpc-fh1a/10141223.aspx?CMP=EMC-ALL-100\ 403 <http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/sanyo-sanyo-high-definition-1080\ p-sdhc-camcorder-vpc-fh1a-web-only-vpc-fh1a/10141223.aspx?CMP=EMC-ALL-10\ 0403> & on sale for 40 hrs , as I have both and not sure which I am sticking with in future t I think I would like to keep the mac for film editing, however, it does not have the Remote Control which is a must, and no Nightvision) - Remote control (is a must) - Nightlight/Vision (not sure the difference or how much light this actually gives) - longer battery life the better, I see a lot of variations, and some you can recharge quickly, I don't know if you can just put in an pre-charged battery when the other runs out - carrying more in your bag. I am hoping in the future to film sessions that run several hours or more - HD Flash Card, I have seen some that have hard drive and Flash - Be able to put on a pole (they have a screw in for poles I presume different sizes), I was thinking of doing later, so that it would fit in to the cane holders on the front of my power wheelchair, so it can be raised and held up for me in certain circumstances, and I don't have to keep holding it up, my arms are very weak, and also shaky. I did take some pictures, I don;;t know if I can upload them here. The present pole I have is very thin I just got for the 1033 Kodak, this would have to be thick like a cane - but to the Camcorder first - I know cameras are sensitive, are their some that can take a bit more of a beating, as in a fall, that another. I think I have read that the hard disks can be more prone to this than a flash, and some have lens covers that close auto to protect them in a fall. Not expecting anyone to do any searching for me, I have done a lot. If you know of any that come to mind that fit the above, or you have suggestions please let me know. I also have trouble speaking so phoning companies has been difficult, they often don't know their own spec's/products or keep them up to date listed on sites depends on the rep. I have gotten different answers from different rep's on same products. I am hoping people who actually use them a lot can be more helpful. What is heavy for me, what can I lift, a medium weight book, and even sometimes a cell phone. It varies.thank youCheryl Benson - you can respond here or to me privately, if you are sending links @ cheryl.ben...@gmail.com. It may take me a bit to get back, it varies, so do my typing abilities :)
