Maybe, but there will be a day on which the link works (in which case it won't be updated). Then there will be a day when the link doesn't work. So I'm not sure that keeping the redirects for a few days/weeks would really help. The main issue is that I have a script that will rename 578 pages. With the cost of one extra line in the script, it could delete the old pages at the same time (if it had sysop privilege). I guess I should stop worrying about the ugliness of having 578 useless redirect pages. One reason I do worry about it is that I'm planning to have another script periodically download everything for a backup, and to allow easy checks for issues needing fixing using local files. I'd rather there were not an extra 578 silly redirect files. John _______________________________________________ Vim-l mailing list Vim-l@wikia.com http://lists.wikia.com/mailman/listinfo/vim-l
