Why does the VCS type need to be discussed at all?  Anyone is free to
setup a repository using their favorite VCS and make it known here.  If
others want to make use of it, then they can.

Bram has his workflow, which involves pushing to the CVS repository and
everything else can be handled by other people that want to provide
alternative resources.  I somewhat understood when SVN was proposed
since it's at least another service provided by Sourceforge.

Now that those have been exhausted, no Sourceforge access is required
and the service can be hosted elsewhere if someone feels strongly about
it.  IMO, there's no reason to bring up establishing a repository using
$fancyNewVcs every time a new release appears.

N.B., I do use git and find it very useful but that doesn't mean I feel
the need to try and impose it on other people.
