Are you talking about using a web browser at http://groups.google.com/group/vim_use Surely the only reason someone would ask how to unsubscribe is because they don't want stuff mailed to them. In which case, "look at the footer" should be adequate (even if they read the advice with the web interface which doesn't show that footer). I don't think we've had a "what footer?" response. Also, the web interface shows a clear "Edit my membership" link (if logged on, as would be the case if you posted a message). The reason I say "look at the footer" is to keep the response simple and consistent. Due to the historical accident of [email protected], the situation IS confusing, and there are a couple of ways to unsubscribe. Now that I've added a bit more to "vim-information", perhaps the standard reply could be: Use the footer of any email, or click "more information" on the Home web page.
