Well done, I think there may be someone need it. I'm using Ubuntu Hardy and use svn to checkout the newest vim and compile myself. Compiling vim isn't hard and I can customize it, in most cases I want Normal version without GUI support but with +x11, +multibyte, ++builtin-termcap, cscope and sse2 instruction. it would be hard to provide all kinds of options in a binary package.
