Personally I think the prices of vintage macs are going down and may continue going down. You may get your Lisa for much less someday. There are less people collecting them and the people that have them are getting older. I think this is actually true of all vintage computers not just macs. The older generations that have personal connections with them are not getting any younger and new collectors aren't replacing them.
If my own son's attitude towards computers is any indication the younger generations don't have any real connection to computers more then they do to say the microwave in the kitchen. Its just an appliance that has always been there. They certainly aren't going to remember that beige PC that they did their homework on with any special fondness.
