The Apple // joysticks always had two buttons, Button0 and Button1, minimum. You'd need button 0 to jump and button 1 to swing your sword. IIRC. It's been a while. :)
Or did you have a (rare) joyport stick? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Arnel Tuazon [snip] I know what you mean. I'm eyeing that IIc. That was my first Apple... EVER. It was a complete system with the original monitor and a whopping 128KB of RAM. I remember typing in code from some pre-Macworld pro-Apple mag I think it was called "Byte" or "Bit"... not sure, but the programs were cool and ranged from index cards to a very useful spreadsheet a la Visicalc. Sold the whole system with an Apple Scribe for about $500 and used the money towards my first Mac (a Plus). I remember playing Conan on it with the old single button Apple joystick and spending hours playing Bard's Tale. Those old Apple computers did a lot for the technology back then. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Vintage Macs group.
