Hey list, Long time no post (like, five years).
Anyway, I have a problem running After Dark 4.0 on my IIfx. The IIfx has 32MB of RAM and is running MacOS 8.1. After Dark will not blank the screen no matter what I do, unless I initiate it using the "Demo" button from within the AD control panel. I have the "hot corners" turned on. Moving to the "never sleep" corner causes the "-" symbol to show up as it should. Moving it to the "sleep now" corner does nothing. The computer also will not go to screen saver after the duration of time I've specified in the Control Panel. The On/Off switch in the Control Panel is set to ON. I turned off the "SystemIQ" feature, no help. I have uninstalled and re-installed the program from the factory CD, no help. I have A/UX installed on the same machine on a second hard disk. When I boot under A/UX, I have After Dark 2.0 installed and it works perfectly fine. What the hell? -Nat -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
