Thanks.

1) ObjectSupportLib isn't present on the IIfx's hard disk. So it's  
not causing any issues....

2) I tried rebooting with only the "8.1 base" extension set + the AD  
4.0 Control Panel enabled, same effect.

I've also tried  disabling AppleTalk (the IIfx is on a network), no  
help.

Any other ideas?
