(1) ObjectSupportLib? - If you have a file called 'ObjectSupportLib' 
in your extensions folder, put it in the trash.  Since System 8.0 
this file's functionality has been built into the system.

To protect your system against erroneous installation of the 
ObjectSupportLib library by third-party installer scripts, create a 
folder of the exact same name in your Extensions Folder.  Installer 
scripts will not replace a folder with a file of the same name.

(2) Extension conflict?

Try a restart with all other 3rd-party control panels and extensions disabled.

(Note: I recall an extreme case of an extension conflict which 
resisted all attempts to track it down.  It turned out to be an 
extension which would initialize if it was present anywhere within 
the system folder, even hidden in sub-folders.  To disable, it had to 
be moved outside the system folder altogether.  Sorry, can't remember 
what it was...)
