Hi All,

I want to network an SE just to be able to transfer files off of it. I want to bridge it to my network using a Beige G3 that I have. The way I understand it is that I connect the SE to the G3 via the printer ports. I connect the G3 to the network via ethernet and run the LocalTalk Bridge software from Apple on the G3.

The SE is running 6.0.7 and the G3 will either be running 8.6 or 9.

I'd be happy with jsut getting the files off the SE onto the G3 and them dealing with them from there. What else do I need to make that happen with this setup?

Are there any possibilities of sharing a printer via the G3?

What about connecting to another machine running Leopard on the network?

Any advice is much appreciated!

Jim
