You are probably right. I was just posting about an experience I had, where I booted a Mac Classic from the ROM Disk which has System 6.0.3, and trying to connect AppleShare to my own G3 with 9.2.1 resulted in a hang (bomb, or similar), whereas booting that same Classic from hard disk with System 7.x (was either 7.0.1 or 7.1-- can't remember) did lead to a successful AppleShare connection and mount of the G3's hard disk. -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
