The SE will be able to go as far as the G3, but won't able to connect to a Leopard server without TCP/IP. Also, be aware that if the G3's HD is HFS+ (which it probably is) then that may well crash AppleShare when attempting to connect from the SE to the G3, and selecting that volume. For ease of connectivity, boot the G3 into OS 9 (if you don't already) and see about making a disk image with Disk Copy in the regular HFS format, then set Sharing privileges for that volume. The SE should be able to connect to the G3 and select the disk image volume. Printer sharing should work, as long as the printer is attached to the G3 and the G3 is running OS 9 as mentioned. It may be possible to print to a network printer from the SE in other configurations, but this should be the easiest. -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
