I'll go that route then

Too bad it won't run system 6 :/ I'm going to backup the current
contents to my white ibook and try the 7.5.5 option.

"Crashy pile of poop-" that is my endearing memory of System 7 :D It
wasn't a normal day on the ol' LCII until you got the bomb …10 times
or more.

This one came with RAM Doubler 8, so I work with 60MB.

My main goal is make a sort of classic graphic designer's workstation
(since I don't think I'll find a IIfx). Silly, perhaps, but I like to
have an appreciation for the beginnings of the "desktop publishing"
era. I haven't used that term in a while… wow.

Originally I had my eyes on this SE/30, but this particular Color
Classic came up for a screaming deal and I jumped on it.

This one is loaded with old games and such and I've only run into
problems running classic apps that weren't designed for system 7.6,
i.e. MusicWorks and I gave my Mac Plus to a friend…
