The Apple hard drive is a 20SC model 2604 made in USA. I tried to copy OS 6 onto an 800k floppy but it won't fit. There must be some way to hook a hard drive to a Plus without a floppy. I don't know myself and have no system disk with the Plus.
thanks for any help. You said the drive has both 6.0.8 and 7.1 that might be your issue. The plus might be confused looking for a system folder as it only expects there to be one on the boot drive. Also the software installs are different for a plus and a classic. Sent from my iPhone On Nov 3, 2011, at 10:24 PM, Mark Kronquist <[email protected]> wrote: > What is the SCSI ID of the drive?
