I have a IIci that I have directly connected to a fast ethernet router. The router will not link up to the IIci unless I force the port to 10 Mbit/ half duplex. Also, old 10baseT equipment rarely does automatic crossover requiring you to use a cross over cable. I wonder if this is the same issue here?
