This is more for the MaX list, but you would likely find any kind of Unix
experience unsatisfactory on an LC. You can use NetBSD functionally with
10MB, but the LC is not listed as officially supported (you need to
install a 68851 PMMU; an FPU is strongly recommended; and even then it
still might not run). See

I think X would be such a drain on an LC's resources as to make it quite
unpleasant. :-P
