The IIci has three NuBus slots and one PDS slot. The NuBus slots are typically used for items like Ethernet interfaces and video cards. The cache card installs in the PDS slot. If you install an accelerator in the PDS slot, you will have filled the only PDS slot. You won't need a cache card if you install an accelerator.
