My brother has a Quadra 950 with 14" monitor running system 7.6.1, and I will soon have an LC III+ with a 12" monitor running the same. I'm wondering if there's any way to get desktop pictures in system 7.6.1. I tried downloading GraphicConverter because the version I've used lets you put any picture on the desktop, but that feature is not present in the 68k version.
Anyway, it'd be nice to have something a bit more interesting than a solid color, but not as garish and ugly as the bundled desktop patterns. On a half-related note, how restrictive is the 512x384 resolution of the 12" monitor? I haven't used one of those 12" monitors but I've heard that they're really small.
