On an old hard drive that came with a Mac I had, there was a PICT file somewhere in the System Folder named Screen. (Ugly picture.) When I moved it out of the folder it didn't show as a desktop picture.
The Appearance SDK can also do some stuff for 7.x. It provides the "Systemwide Platinum Appearance" like 8.x and there are some apps that require it. I couldn't find it on http://developer.apple.com (or devworld.apple.com ) but it's still in the FTP. ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/ ===== http://www.junkscience.com "All the Junk that's fit to Debunk!" __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
