I can imagine 7.6.1 would be slimmed down considerably when stripping 
all the ppc code.  Apple didn't do much development on the system for 
several years. I guess they were concentrating their resources on 
Copland at the time. Basically they only added stuff like drag and 
drop and open transport, nothing special.  The larger part of the 
extra code on those 13 extra installer disks was probably powerpc 
stuff.

BTW It might also be cool to slim down 8.1 with this utility and see 
how it runs on a SE/30 or IIci.
