I mean what is in it, what changed from 7.1, that is slower. For example, is the OS doing more work and offering more services? Or, is it just the extras that slow things down? I have a Daystar 50MHz accelerator, and 128MB of RAM for one of the machines. That should run nicely. I'll try getting all the features I want in 7.1 before moving up from there.
