I've never even heard of the Daystar Value 040 before. It plugs _directly_ into the LC PDS? Sounds like it'd be better in an LCIII or LCIII+ than the orignal LC or LCII. Anyway, the Turbo 040 isn't for Quadra/Centris/other 040 Macs. The Daystar upgrade for the Q605 would be the PowerCard which plugs into the 040 CPU socket and upgrades it to a 601 PPC. (And I think also blocks the use of the PDS, unless you're into custom cases and stacking PDS connectors.) ===== "If knowing is half the battle, why aren't all battles half as long?" __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
