Does it sound louder when you use the mic to record an alert sound? I'm wondering if the program you're using is part of the problem. 68Ks cannot encode MP3 AFAIK. They can *de*code it, but I don't know of anything that can *make* MP3s on a 68K. -- the pickle FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> _________________________________________________________________ -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
