The 580 uses the old-style mic? That's weird. The LC/Performa 520, 550 &
575 all use PlainTalk mics (the wedge-style with the long connectors).
Got one sitting on my 575 here as I type. I know they went cheap with
the 580, giving it a non-Trinitron screen, etc., but I didn't know they
regressed to the old round button mics as well. Odd.
