Uh, if you grab a mono adapter and you are handling stereo, you would 
need TWO of these cables, plus an adaptor to join them back into a 
stereo signal. BTW they are sold individually as - I'm not sure which - 
a 3 or 6 ft cable. Make sure that you grab a combiner adaptor that take 
a left and right mono 1/8" to a single stero 1/8". It's about $4.99.
