I don't understand the problem.  Pull out the motherboard and replace 
all the SM metal can electrolytic caps.  There're only ten of them 
and only five of those are over in the power supply circuitry, though 
it's possible that the other five are involved in the power and just 
not near it.  And there are three axial electrolytic caps you might 
wish to replace.   All tolled, there's only 13 capacitors to replace 
even if you do them all.
