It's not your Mac or install disk; I've seen the same problem on the same model. One solution is to do a standard install on another Nubus powermac, or a universal install on any mac, and then copy the whole drive into the 7100/80's drive. Since other Macs were available to me I didn't try very hard to find another way around the installer problem.
