I have 8.6 installed on my 7100/80. It installed just perfectly after I got rid of the experimental lab ROM. Yes really. I had a Cupertino experimental lab ROM bought from Shreve Systems when I upgraded to a 7100/80 from a Centris 650. This was found out for me by the main technician at Newer Tech several years ago.
There was no problem installing. But I have full RAM allowed on a 7100/80, a 2 Gb Hard Disk and a Newer Tech accelerator.
