I replaced my Apple mice balls with ones from PC mice. Most PC mice use rubber covered balls of steel, which get better traction than Apple's flyweight plastic balls. The best cleaner I've found for the rubber covered balls is Windex or other ammonia based glass cleaner. Spritz some onto a folded paper towel then rub your balls until they're clean. Rinse with water then put back in the mouse. (It also gets the paper dust "glaze" off printer rollers.) If you think that's weird, what about golf? It's a sport where guys spend all day hitting their balls with metal rods then put them in holes in the ground... ===== It will be total Fandemonium, Summer 2005!
