[Looks a little dubious] For a laugh, this weekend I hunted down a copy of PowerPeek & put it on my girlfriend's B&W G3 Mac running OS 9.2.2. She's one of the few people I know still running MacOS 9. PowerPeek puts a little flashing light at the top right of the menu bar: red when running MC68K code, green for PPC code. Even with all modern apps on a patched-to-the-absolute-hilt (by me) MacOS 9.2.2 machine, it's red an /awful/ lot of the time. Big chunks of WamCom Mozilla 1.3.1, Outlook Express 5, IE 5.1, the latest Yahoo messenger & more... It's seldom solid green at all. There's still a LOT of 68K code around. I missed out on a free Quadra 840AV a couple of weeks ago & I'm gutted.
