Ed, that sounds like the same setup as mine. You didn't include the orignal
text so refresh my memory, didn't you say that only the hot water at the
kitchen sink runs slow? If so there has to be a blockage in that line
between the water heater and the faucet valve, it can't be the spout screen
or the cold would also run slow.

I have a clear plastic filter with a stainless steel screen in it between
the tank and the pump. Looks clean. I also have some kind of filter under
the kitchen sink that does not have the guts in it so it should not cause
flow problems. I guess I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
