Hey, I'm a long-time member of the list, but I haven't posted in like forever.
I own two '77 buggies. One is a Bahama Blue Metallic sedan. This car was freshed up in the late '90s by me and my friends. Jeffrey, the president of Central Jersey VW Society, was my inspiration. I could not have completed the task without him. Now this car and my Viper Green Metallic rust-bucket parts car are sitting derelict in my yard. In 2000, when I stopped using Blue as a daily driver, I decided to give it to my oldest son. He quickly totalled it. My plan is to once again make it road worthy and maybe get it professionally restored around this time next year. If I ever hit the lottery, I'd like to turn Green into a hot-rod. ;-) Anyone know a good east coast restoration shop?
