I've spent the last couple of days on a unsuccessful hunt for 165R15 VW-sized tires in my local area.
It seems that 165/15 tires are obsolete from the major manufacturer's point of view and I cannot find anyone in the Tidewater area of Virginia that can get them for me. A local tire shop called six different suppliers and came up empty. Any suggestions? I see Coker sells Futura or Lexingtons for $37 each and the cost with shipping and paying for mount/balance will only be a bit more than I was quoted before the shop checked the warehouse. I've also found < http://www.tires-easy.com/ > which had a collection of $30 imported Kumho, Nankang, Nexen, Republic... anyone ever order from them or used any of those branded tires? Has anyone found a better place or supply? Recommend a brand?
