The '63 lid is longer and might not clear the center section of the 
bumper. The gasket (rubber seal around the edge on the body) on the '67 
does not go all the way down to the point of the lid, so there will be 
an air leak there, not a big one, but a leak. The lid will sit flat if 
it does not hit the air cleaner. If you use a '66 or earlier cleaner, it 
will clear.

The latch is the worst part. The twist latch hole on the '63 won't 
accept the '67 style button without major metal work, or you will need 
to weld on a pre-65 latch striker to the '67's apron.
