Interesting, Bill. I thought I remembered seeing `67s
with both types of overriders - assumed that some had
had the bumpers replaced, didn't know that early ones
lacked the offset from the factory. It wasn't
mandatory to clear either decklid, but it was
definitely a nice touch that gave a little extra
margin in the event the bumper got punched in a
little.
