I have installed the engine with 12 volt flywheel into an early trans by 
slowly turning the engine over by hand as the 4 engine mount bolts are 
slowly tightened. The flywheel will mark the trans and ID where the grinding 
needs to be done. You don't need to grind all that much-go slowly.
