I might be misled about the hp output because I bought the motor a long 
time ago. The motor definitely has a bigger flywheel. It also has a 12v 
regulator and came delivered with a 12v starter.

The tip from Eric about using a rasp on a hand drill sounds like a good 
plan to me. Thanks for the responses, everyone.
